Defenition
of 'Breeding Mix'
|
I
use this terminology to describe seeds from selected
|
| plants
where I do not guarentee the exact cross made. However,
I maintain a principle that I only take seeds from
plants that I know is of hybridizing quality. When
I do the polination I either self polinate (when
I know that the offspring will be a good quality)
or cross polinate (only with a plant that offers
virtues that will improve that of the mother plant). |

terminology is used when I record
the cross. In |

words I hand polinated the flower and therefor,
know who the mother plant is as well as who the
pollen parent is (of course there is always a possibility
that wind or bees can have an influence but this
is minmized by polinating as early as possible in
the day). |
